Every dollar of team budget supports players — tournaments, uniforms, development, and operations. If we end a season with a surplus, it is reinvested in the program (for example: additional pitching coaches, prospect camps, equipment, and team needs). No surplus is kept for personal profit. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; we run this team because we care.

Each committed player receives 2 full uniforms covered by their season dues (secured via the Nov 1st initial deposit). Final jersey striping, cap logos, and sponsor sleeve patch placements are subject to minor refinements prior to our official team order.
Season cost is $2,999 per player instead of $4,500+ at commercial academies because our coaches volunteer and we run lean. The buyout options below are included in that total — not add-ons.
Pay the full $2,999 in cash: $500 roster deposit (Nov 1) plus $2,499 in monthly installments (January–May). See the payment schedule below.
Pay $2,500 in cash ($500 deposit + $400/month January–May), and fulfill the remaining $500 (part of your $2,999 total) by either:
Option B families: finish volunteer hours or confirm your $500 player sponsor by the deadline coaches announce at roster commitment — same $2,999 total as Option A, just a different mix of cash and team support.
Every family pays the $500 November deposit. After that, choose Option A (full cash) or Option B (lower cash installments + volunteer or $500 sponsor). All paths total $2,999 and cover membership May through end of October (tournaments, uniforms, hitting coach, and team costs).

Raleigh Sandlot Mafia is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit baseball organization. We separate player-credit sponsorships (part of a family’s $2,999 season commitment on Option B) from general team sponsorships that support the whole program.
A local business contributes $500 to the team and that amount credits one rostered player’s included $500 share on Option B. It is not an extra fee on top of $2,999 — it completes the same season total as paying in full. One confirmed $500 sponsorship = one player’s included share (volunteer shifts are the alternative).
General sponsors help fund tournaments, equipment, and player development for the entire roster. Contributions of $300 or more receive an official receipt suitable for tax or business advertising records (consult your tax advisor). Recognition on uniforms or team materials varies by level — we’ll outline options when you inquire.
Team sponsorships are separate from a player’s season dues unless you are intentionally making a $500 player-credit gift tied to one family on Option B.
